Bicycle Servicing

The general service of a bicycle can be very different depending on the mechanic or shop offering the service. The RG Active Bike Fix ‘General Service’ includes:

- Brake service & gear service.

- Frame check & wheel truing (front and back).

- Adjust headset, clean & lube bicycle where necessary.

- The price of this service is £60.00

Further work may be required on top of the above, so in such circumstances we offer a discount of 50% against the normal price when required as part of the general service.

The deluxe service is our ultimate service where your bike will be returned to you as good, if not better than when you purchased it!

The RG Active Bike Fix ‘Deluxe Service’ includes:

- Full strip down.

- Full inspection and service of ALL individual parts.

- Full clean and re-build.

- The price of this service is £120.00

This service is available for all services.On booking we arrange a time and date for the ‘pick up’ and after the service for the ‘drop off’ that is suitable for you.

The cost of this very exclusive service is £10.00 on top of the service costs.

We are able to offer this service at your place or work, or at your home anywhere within the designated areas.

We also offer more specific services that allow you to have work done on specific areas of your bike that may need attention. Each of these areas has a specific skill set required to fix and the prices for the services are listed below:

- Brakes £25.00

- Hydraulic brake bleed £25.00 per brake

- Gears £25.00

- Bottom bracket £25.00

Note: The bottom bracket is serviced and re-greased or it is replaced.

- Headset £25.00

Note: The headset is serviced and re-greased or it is replaced.

- Front wheel hub £20.00

- Rear wheel hub £25.00

Note: This price includes the replacement of the free hub body if necessary along with any internal gears.

Suspension forks (Headshok, Lefty etc.)

- Bearings and cartridges £80.00

- Cartridge and seals only £40.00
